Airmeex carries out the Exproof conversion of all construction machinery that can operate safely in zone 1 conditions.
All ignition sources caused by equipment operating in potentially explosive atmospheres (e.g. electrical, static, mechanical, thermal, hot surfaces etc.), are kept and protected within the standards.
All our machines that we have transformed; are ATEX 2014/34/EU certified according to EN1755 and ISO9001:2015.
Atex conversions include;
- “Ex d” protected box tested against explosion for components forming arcs and sparks.
- Surface temperature limitation to ensure that motors, brakes, electrical components and other components remain below the auto-ignition temperatures of combustible materials (class T)
- ''Ex d'' protected box for the motors (drive motor, winding motor and elevator)
- “Ex i” Intrinsically safe circuits (Zenner barrier, relay card)
- “Ex m” Encapsulation (solenoids)
- “Ex d-” Protected battery socket
- “Ex e” Battery protected with increased safety
- Grounding chains to eliminate static electricity
