Atex Flame Arrestor
Technical information
- Airmeex Flame Arresters are manufactured to meet the requirements of the standards for the relevant protection classes stated below for use in underground and aboveground applications within the scope of 2014/34/EU ATEX Regulation.
- It consists of flame arrester, body and a protective element. The body is a pipe and a stainless metal flange. The shielding element is a spiral wound one over the other, a flat and folded strip of stainless metal.
- The maximum gap between two strips is 0.35 mm
- Flame arresters are intended for use with internal combustion engines only. They are installed in the intake air system and the outlet exhaust system.
